My baby girl used to head butt me until I woke up and played with her or tossed her off the bed - cats are nocturnal and they really liked to be loved more than people think, they probly just want to be in the room with you but you don't want that so you may have to just deal with the crying until they realize your not letting them in or let them in. I bought a small cat tower/play thing and put it right next to my bed so when they start to bother me I put them there and they noarmally quit bothering me. Hopefully any one of these things help. good luck.

Have there been any other changes for him? If it's just wanting to go outdoors, there are pet enclousres you can buy that allow him to go 'outside' but not wander.

Try Doctors Foster & Smith catalogue, they have a few options.

Otherwise, see if there is something else bothering him. Did you used to let him sleep with you? Did you move recently? Or have you been sick? Any of those things could be off-putting for him.

Cat's hate being locked out of the room. Just give in and let him come in and sleep with you! :) You will both be happy.
I don't think anything is wrong with him physically. He just wants to be where you are. I love cats, I have two of them, and they are not allowed outside either. We live in Acton up a dirt road and there are lots of bobcats and flying predators! Do you also live in Acton?

Maybe there is something wrong with the cat. I'd suggest you take him in for a check-up. He could be trying to tell you something.
If you want to work from home-check out my website. Kellyis.stayinhomeandlovinit.com. Good luck w/ the kitty. And good luck with a career search. I went to college for years while working full-time, only to end up doing the same thing. I made more money, but I was so bored and unchallenged. Try to find what makes you happy and do it!!

My cat does the same thing I hate it. I usually have just found to ignore it but sometimes that does not do a thing he still stays there for ever meowing. If my Daughter plays with him a lot that day usually he is so tired he sleep at night so he does not bother me. I sometimes think about putting him in the garage at night but have not done it yet.
Good luck!
