What Does Your 10 Month Old Eat?

My daughter seems to like to eat... unlike my 3 year old son who is really picky. Just curious as to what other 10 month old kids are eating now and how much. My daughter nibbles on stuff....but doesn't seem to sit down and eat a "full meal". She won't eat baby food so I usually give her whatever we are eating. I was pureeing food for her for a while and she loved it but now she hates it.

What can I do next?

At 10 months my girls ate everything we did except for milk, nuts, peanut butter, chocolate, honey and junk food. They also liked to feed themselves - it took longer and was messier than me feeding them, but they were happier and it allowed me to eat my own food while it was hot! lol

Our daughter eats everything we do (unless it's really spicy or something.) She started turning her nose up at purees at about 8 months. At our 9 month checkup the pediatrician said she hasn't had a history or "signs" of allergies, so could have anything but honey and milk. We just cut up everything really small and she does fine. She has 6 teeth, but rarely uses them for "biting" her food since they are in the front. She's had shrimp, calamari, steak, all veggies fruits, casseroles, etc. and LOVES it all. I haven't seen her turn down anything! She eats 3 meals a day and sometimes a snack. She also still nurses about 4-5 times a day.

Funny you should ask. My grandson who was 10 months at Easter, had
filet mignon, mashed potatoes. This little guy eats everything. Loves all
table food but will eat baby food when we are on the run.

I have twin girls and they definitely started eating table food sooner than their older sister did. Around 10 months, I started giving them whatever we were eating and they loved it. The only thing I waited on (until 12 months), was shellfish (they love shrimp now), peanut butter, honey & nuts. The only thing we've had a problem with is vegetables. They're now 14 months and I just started buying 3rd stage baby vegetables again (Broccoli, carrots & cheese is a winner). They'd eat avocado (which I think may actually be a fruit), a little cauliflower, and sometimes peas.... but I never got any consistency.

My son is complete opposite. He just turned 11 months old and he hate table food. He eat all baby food. Whenever I try to give him table food he frown in disgust. And he only have 2 bottom teeth in the front.
