I know it's the day before Valentine's day but my Husband of 7 years sent me flowers today. I haven't received any type of gift from him for years and to say the least I am shocked. Now, I don't have anything to give him tomorrow. Do I get him something and if so do you have any good ideas for last minute gifts. He is into sports and that is about all!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your responses! I ended up finding a place that will deliver fresh baked cookies (he LOVES cookies)to him at work and then I also got him a card and I am going to put coupons in it(like the one's Jodee had suggested) and give it to him tonight when he comes home. Thanks Again!

I would make him his favorite meal/dessert something like that. As long as you have time to. If you will not have time to do this tomorrow, pick a day and tell him that on this day.... you owe him a meal/dessert something like that. That is easy and cheap and meaningful! Good Luck! Oh and make sure that you "thank" him for the flowers in one way or another!

You are the best gift. Give him some good loving!!! :-) I am sure he would like that gift the best! The best part about it is that it doesn't cost anything.

Today is Valentine's Day so it may be a bit late for you, but...its the gifts from the heart that truly matter the most. Prepare his favorite meal. Prepare his favorite dessert. Write a personal poem. Go rent his favorite all time movie, even if its one that you've seen a thousand times. The gift doesn't have to be store-bought. As long as its from the heart, that is truly what matters.

Knowing my husband, the best gift would be putting something sexy on after the kids are asleep (which could include nothing at all), popping open a bottle of champagne, and reminding him why we got married in the first place. :)You don't have to spend money to make your man know that you were thinking of him on V-day. :)

One of my husbands favorite gives was a coupon well I gave him a few and he loved them. I'm really into the coupons they are free and fun. SO if you can think of something that he loves but you don’t do every often. Or something that he has always wanted but you can do at another time.

The right to win the argument of his choice!
(He loved this one and kept it in his wallet and even showed his friends.)

Free massage without one in return.

Cook his favorite dinner and have the kids be your waiters or set them up with a movie or babysitter while you have a romantic dinner with you man!

Rent his favorite movie and watch it with him even if it’s not your type, my man loves Rambo and could I mean does watch it over and over but to snuggle with him while he watches it is great.

Take the garbage out coupon that’s where you would take out the garbage LOL.

Get him tickets to his favorite sports game or if you don’t have something try even high school games. They can be fun and make you feel young again.

Well hope this helps. Happy Valentines Day to you and yours.

You could cook him his favorite supper and make a romantic evening after the kids go to bed. Shower him with complements and show him, with caresses, kisses or such. It sounds so simple but in reality, he might remember it more than a last minute gift. Happy Valentines Day!!!

Send a candy bouquet with football theme. I bet he'd love it. Or you can make him a home made card, bake him football shaped & heart shaped cookies, or make him his favorite dinner by candle light.
