I am looking for good labels to put on my son's sippy cups and food containers for school. I am tired of writing his name with permanent marker every few days. Has anyone used the Stuck on You labels or any other brands?

What can I do next?

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions. I did order the labels after hearing how great they are, but I will keep in mind all the other suggestions too.

Hi!
I used mabel's labels. I bought the labels 5 years ago when my daughter was born and they are still sticking after hundreds of dish washer and washing machine washes. We have the stickers on sippy cups, bottles, her lunch box and we have the iron-ons on her nap time blanket and back pack.

I bought a roll of white electric tape from Home Depot and use it to label their things. Comes off without leaving any residue and stays put. I also use it to mark on the lunch if its hot or not so they don't put it in the fridge. It cost a couple of dollars and will probably last till they graduate college, although they probably won't want me labeling their stuff anymore lol.

God bless,
A.

I don't think I would "buy" anything. I would hunt around for a wide rubber band and write her name on the band, then wrap it around the cuppie. Or, I would crochet or knit a cozy for it.

The absolute best labels are the bumpy orbit name labels. They are made of the same material as the Lance Armstrong bracelets. They are engraved with your child's name, fit over bottles, sippys, containers, AND can stay on them thru the dishwasher! I LOVE them! Here's their website: http://www.inchbug.com

M.,
What I did for my son was use an engraver tool (got mine for $1 at the dollar store) and engraved his name on all his sippy cups, and bowls.

Like you, i sick of washing the 'permanent' marker off.

Not to mention the engraver tool works on AA batteries.

Good Luck!

I really like the BumpyName Orbit Labels. You can find them at www.inchbg.com and they can go on cups or bottles and are dishwasher safe!

Hi M.! Congrats on your new baby boy - enjoy the time! Stuck on You lables are awesome!! I used them for my daughter over 3 years ago and they are still on her sippy cups! I am actually getting ready today to order them for my 6 mo son. I tried something off of eBay for my infant son, but they didn't work at all. Stuck on You is a little pricey, but definitely worth it! Good luck to you.

I ordered the Stuck On You labels for my son's sippee cups when he started school in September. They've been on since then and are holding up really well. I thought they would get killed during washings, but I hand wash all his sippee cups anyhow and they still look great. Also got him a lunch box tag which is really cute. I think they're a good investment. Even permanent marker scratches off after several washings.

Good luck!

I used regular p-touch and dymo labels. They stuck on even in the dishwasher. Just be sure you use plastic or metallic tapes they sell.
