Does anyone ever complete the online survey's that are printed on some receipts (Home Depot, HEB, Walmart, Burger King, etc)? Has anyone ever won anything from them? I completed some but I'm wondering are they worth my time.

What can I do next?

I only do it if they offer a coupon or a discount or something when you fill it. JCPenney gives 15% off at the next visit.
I do not do the for a chance to win ones.

My aunt won from HEB. I think it was $1000. Ever since then, I fill them out every time!

I always intend to, get distracted and miss the deadline and figure I wouldn't win anyhow.

But, I need to start doing them. $1000 is $1000, and I can find a way to spend it at Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Home Depot, Meijer all pretty easily.

I think we've done one from Burger King that gave us a code for a free item if you do the survey. It's like getting a coupon. But we never remember to do the ones that just have a chance of winning.

The only time I really did a survey was for DD because after the survey you get a code for a free doughnut with a coffee

When I first got them, I answered them. Never won anything. I saw no advantage in answering them and stopped. Sometimes the survey also includes giving the clerk an "atta girl." I intend to respond when I've received really good help from the clerk but usually I forget to do it. Responding is a matter of priority for me and I just have too much to do already.

To me, Time=$$ and it is not worth my time to fill the survey's out.

It is a good way for the stores to get personal information (yada yada they say they don't share info) for other marketing gimmicks.

I will only fill one out if I've had poor or exceptional service.

Your chances are just as good to buy a lottery ticket.

I do the surveys on the back of the recipts from olive garden, famous daves, panda express etc. they take like 2 minutes and usually win an appetizer or dessert etc.... always win on famous daves and always win on panda express. olive garden not nearly as often. but for 2 minutes its worth it.

i have only done one, i think it was taco bell. i think i only did it because #1, i was mad, and #2, if you call you get a free meal or something. i wouldn't ever do it for a "chance" to win.

I responded to about 10 of them and never won anything. If I'm bored and remember to do a survey, I do it. Usually, I throw out the receipt, so that's that. I think that for the most part, these surveys are a marketing tool to get future business. For the restaurant surveys though, you get meal coupons either by email or regular mail if it asks for an address.
