I've been so busy trying to get things done that I forgot to pretreat my son's clothes. He has food stains on his clothing but they have already been through the dryer. Is there a way to get these stains out or is it too late?
Try the shot rub on gel. It works for most stains an my daughters clothes even old ones before I would stain stick anything. :)
you might just try spraying with shout or spray'n'wash and letting it soak and then washing. sometimes if the stain isn't too bad, i can do this even after i've dried it and it works.
Someone already recommended the Oxiclean stain remover that you can spray on, but I've had really good luck running a sink full of the original Oxiclean power and water and letting things soak in it for quite a while or even over night. It really does work wonders!
you can try Sol-U-Mel and also something called "prespot" both of these products work wonderful; without the harmful chemicals! You don't want to wipe out your child; just the spot, right?! P. Baker
I use oxiclean and presoak the clothes for 1-6 hours. You would be amazed what comes out, even stains that are set in.

I go to Wal-Mart and in the automotive section, there is a hand cleaner that is a degreaser and it is called GOJO (it is a hand cream-in a round container). I found it to work wonders on alot of things. It is for greasy hands from working on cars and things. It even says that it is for stains on clothing also. I think it is .99. It is so cheap and works wonders. I have even gotten the same thing (different brand) at O'reilly's and Auto Zone, and it is a little more expensive, but does the same job. My husband is an Electrician and I have even gotten stains out of his work clothes that I have washed and dried. I hope this helps!! I just tried it one day and now I love it.
I use Simple Green. This, too, is good for degreasing, but it works so well on everything else, I hardly need any other cleaners. And it's even safe enough to use on dishes!
I use pro-tech. It works on everything, it's safe, it's natural, it removes odors and stains, plus it's a disinfectant. It's cheap when you look at the # of functions and how many bottles it can make. Plus, the disinfectant is immediate unlike many products (ie. Lysol says to let stand). The only bad part is you would have to order it from the internet, because they don't sell it in stores.
My aunt told me about using Joy liquid dish soap. What you would do is pour the Joy into a bucke/bowl or large cup depending on the size of the stain, Add water but turn fosset up enough to create suds. You will only use the suds to work your stain out. I personally haven't tried it but my aunt used this proceedure to get black grease out of her carpet. My grandmother also swears by it. Plus it would be mild enough for a baby's clothes.

I use spray and wash and it works even if its been dried but since you have dried it, it may have to be sprayed and washed a few times before it completely comes out.
Oxiclean laundry stain remover (in a spray bottle) is the best stain remover i've used. It's right by the spray-and-wash in the laundry isle.
I have found that peroxoide works great on babyfood stains even after they have been through the dryer. I have also used Oxyclean on them. Both of these products will not hurt the clothes and you can leave them set over night in a little water then wash the next day.
My mom gave me a trick that worked for her with tough stains like that. She took a bottle of Shout, put all the clothes in the washer and let it fill up with water and then stopped the washer, pour half the bottle of Shout in, and let it sit overnight. Then finish running it through in the morning. It worked with several normally tricky stains, and all the clothes she did that on had already been run through the dryer also.
I know one thing that I use all the time and not just for close and it works really really good and it only cost a dollar. Its called (AWESOME) and you can get it from the Dollar store and Deals. I always tell my husband when I get done using it that its AWESOME because it works so good. But if you are going to spray it onto your cloths that you have already dried, when you spray it on there scrub it for a few sec. and then spray it just a little more and let it sit for a few min. before you wash it again....I have found that works best for some close.
