I too am a teacher, but I'll soon have 2 under 2, & w/gas & daycare, my income becomes minimal. Anyway, I've decided to join the MOM Team, which is a group of Moms some SAHM and some have other jobs, but we help eachother market for a health/wellness company. The start up is minimal & refundable w/in 4 mo. There is NO selling, NO inventory, NO cold calling, but there IS unlimited training & support from Moms just like you.You can easily get started over the summer and even keep it up part time during the school year. The income is residual, and the products we market make your home healthier and safer for your family. I was skeptical at first, but I wanted to go green, and I realized there was nothing to lose. Hi LC!

I work part time as a bank teller and really enjoy it. I've been w/the bank for almost 6 years and just recently went part time after having my baby. I work 20 hours per week. Just an idea if you haven't found anything yet. We have a few locations in Arlington too! Best of luck!

Hi Lara:

I recommend Ignite - I've done several other businesses but really like this one because there is no inventory, it is something that EVERYone uses, it is residual and pays well.

Lara,

I spoke with another teacher just a few weeks ago. She too was lloking for something to do in the summer. I introduced her to Avon and she has taken off like a rocket. Her fellow teachers and other school staff have given her tremendous orders. There is actually another Avon rep who dropps books off at the school and teachers used to order from her. Now that they have a fellow teacher within the school that is an Avon rep, they are ordering with the teacher. I knew that this teacher would do great, but when I saw her first order, i was a bit jealous. It was a HUGE order for a first time order. It was over $500.

Now, let me tell you a bit about Avon. the company has been around for over 120 years. All products come with a 100% guarantee to ensure customer satisfaction. Avon is worldwide and so very affordable. There is a product that one could by at department stores for between $400 and $700. Avon offers the same product at double the strength for $54. There is a product coming out on the market now through another company that is more than twice what Avon has been offering it for for several years now.

I would love to tell you more about Avon and the opportunity that is avaialable to you. Let me tell you what it has done for me. I am a divorced mother of two. My former husband passed away so I get no financial help there. My 10 year old son who has some health problems that required him to miss too much school and he began floundering. I made the decision to homeschool him after almost a full year of being on the homebound program. I also have a two year old daughter and watch an almost three year old boy. Through my Avon business, I am able to stay home, educate my children and pay my bills. Sure, right now there is not a lot of money for extras, but I only started with Avon in December. So really, I feel I am doing great. I feel that by the end of this year, I will be making substancially more money because my business continues to grow every day. I really love the opportunity that Avon has given me.

Let me give you another example. My cousin, who has been with Avon for only eight years, makes a six-figure income. She has gone on three free cruises with Avon and several trips throughout the US. Right now she is in New York at an event that Avon sent her on as a surprise "bonus" for her dedication and success. She was a single mom when she started out. Through Avon she has been able to pay off her house early. She is now married and her and her husband's cars are paid for. This past Spring Break she took her grown son, his girl-friend and son, her daughter, her nephew as well as herself and her husband to Walt Disney World for a week. All with money she made woking her Avon business.

Another example (and this is my 3 year goal), there is a rep in Frisco who gets a check from Avon, every two weeks, for roughly $8000. That is in addition to her on personal sales. She is a Senior Executive Unit Leader, which means that she has appointed at least 20 other successful reps to her first generation downline. Although, I will tell you, she does have more that 20. Her numbers are much, much higher. However, my cousin's entire downline (1st, 2nd and 3rd generations combined) is only about 500 or so and she is making that six-figure income and receives roughly $2500 from Avon every two weeks. That is my end of this year goal.

I'll tell you, I could sing the praises of my job for days-weeks, but I won't do that to you. I will tell you that I LOVE my job. I work it how I choose and it has proven to be successful so far. If you would like to know more about Avon or how you could start your own business with Avon, FOR ONLY $10, please email me. I would love to tell you more about the Avon opportunity and how it can benefit you personally.

BTW-As a teacher, you are a hero in my eyes. I think teachers are one of the most under-recognized professions out there. We never get to hear how it was "Mrs. Doe, my 1st grade teacher, turned my life around. She is why I am here today taking my bar exam or practicing medicine or whatever." When, truth be told, so many times, it was Mrs. Doe that saw the potential and helped that child blossom and become the success they are. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Lara,

Have you heard of Scentsy "the Authentic Wickless Candles"? If not, then you should be the 1st to tell all your friends. It's a great way to earn extra income!

It's a safe alternative than candles and is safe for DORMS, CLASSROOMS, APARTMENTS, RETIREMENT HOMES, OFFICES, HOUSES, or anywhere you would like a great smelling Aroma. Scentsy is a decorative warmer that use a 25 watt bulb to melt the wax. It's not hot to the touch and you can leave them on all day and not worry about something burning.

The company has been around for 3 years and is growing daily! The products sell themselve and nothing is over $25. If your intersted please check my website out and sign up through my website at www.scentsy.com/DFW or you may contact me at ###-###-#### or ____@____.com!!!

There are many direct sales companies that can be very profitable. The key is finding one that you are passionate about. If you don't love the products, you aren't going to do very well at convincing others to buy them!

Homemade Gourmet is the company that I chose to represent. We provide gourmet mixes, recipes, meal planners and even shopping lists to help bring today's busy families back to the dinner table with delicious, nutritious meals that don't require hours of work in the kitchen! It's a great product, a great company with a great mission and everyone's gotta eat, right? So there's great potential for repeat sales as customers contact you for refills of their favorites.

We have an excellent compensation plan and opportunity to earn additional income and bonuses by building a team of consultants. I won't lie to you, it's not a get-rich quick scheme and it does require that you actually work the business, but you get to choose your own hours, you schedule your work around your family's needs, you are your own boss! As with any legitimate work at home business, how much or how little you put into the business determines how much you get out of it. But if you put your mind to it, the possibilities are endless!

And you won't be in it alone! I will work to train you and encourage you every step of the way!

I'd love to talk to you more about Homemade Gourmet! Normally our starter kit costs $39 and you would need to place an initial order of $400 retail ($240 your cost) when you signup, but during the month of April our starter kit is FREE!! PLUS, I can work with you to host your first party to easily meet the initial order requirement without any money out of pocket.

Whatever you choose to do, I wish you all the best!
