Small Pillow

Does anyone know where I can find a small pillow for a toddler? I have looked at Target and Walmart and only find standard size pillows. He is currently using one I got from Ikea that is machine-washable, which is great, but I need a second one and would rather find something closer if I can (Ikea is far away plus not sure if they would still have something like this one).

Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

I used regular pillows for my kids once they were in a toddler bed because I was killing myself trying to find smaller pillows. Wasn't worth it; the kids did fine with normal sized pillows. If they were spending the night at my parents house, I would take the small pillows off the couch and throw them in a pillowcase :)

Have you heard of pillow pets? My toddler has one and LOVES it! They are little stuffed animals that fold out into a pillow, they are so great! They can also be washed in the washing machine, and come in large and small sizes. I think you would probably have to buy on-line. We have a kiosk of them in our local mall, but I am not sure where they are around the country. If you don't want to got that route have you tried Bed, Bath and Beyond?

Sorry I probably wasnt much help! :)

Ikea. They have toddler pillows.

Sorry, didn't read your whole question before I responded. Ikea's all I've got. You could order it online, maybe?

I found a plain pillow that was toddler sized at Hobby Lobby. I had to take a bit of stuffing out of it (so it would fit ore easily into the pillow case I was using), but it worked great for a back up pillow.

it is very easy (and cheaper) to make one. just buy the fabric and batting. my mom just made one for my 18mnt old since he has been using his teddy bear as a pillow.

We use a standard size pillow that is "soft" so that it doesn't keep his head propped-up. We had a really hard time finding a "toddler pillow", but this works well for us!

You could try a decorative throw pillow for a couch. Some of them are pretty comfortable!

You might try a travel pillow, I've seen them at Walmart. It's rectangular not the kind to use on the plane. Or get a regular pillow and take 1/2 to 3/4 of the stuffing out and resew.

I found ours online -- they sold toddler sized pillows and toddler sized pillow cases for them.. Try googling or Bing :) I forget the site because I bought 2 right away so I always had a spare while the other was in the laundry.

Maybe you can just make one. Super easy even if you don't have a sewing machine. Just something to think about.

I think ours is technically a travel pillow and I think we either got it at Target or Walmart and somewhere along the line I got two zippered pillow cases for it. DD also has pillow pets.

Just got to throw a super cute idea out there - I have made both of my kids "shirt pillows". They were older than toddler though. I used some of their favorite Ts that they had outgrown. Stitch the bottom of the shirt and the ends of the sleeves, stuff it full and then stich the neck shut. They love them and use them for travel - they are now 6 and 8 and take them on vacations and car rides!
