Seeking Moms' Group in Winston Salem Area

Welcome to W-S! I don't know what part of the area you're in, but I'm part of a wonderful MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers,) group that meets in Davie Co. It might be convenient for you if you're Western Forsyth Co. as I am in Clemmons. We have several moms from Clemmons and Lewsiville in our group. We're out for the summer now. Our meetings will start back in Sept. We meet at Cornerstone Christian Church (Phone ###-###-####) on Hwy 801 N the 1st and 3rd Fridays Sept - May from 9:30-11:45 and we have childcare. We've had many moms who are new to the area join our group. It's a great way to meet other moms with kids the same age as yours. If this meeting isn't convenient for you, check out the MOPS website (www.mops.org) to find a group that meets near you. I really do recommend it. MOPS has helped me be a better mom and connect with other moms.

First congratulation on boy #2 I have 3 myself (13, 8 and 6) I live in Mocksville but I have friends that participate in MOPS (mothers of preschooler) and love it. To find a group that meets near you go to www.mops.org. If you are interested in getting together with others to scrapbook or stamp let me know. I have a group that gets together occasionally. Hi! I'm a member of a moms group through Meetup.com and love it! Moved to the area in September and found out about Meetup through this website in March. Wish I would've known about it earlier. We've met a lot of nice friends - for me and the kids. Good luck!
