I am in search of an excellent pediatric dentist for my 3 year old's first dentist appointment. Does anyone have any experience with Bryant Pediatric Dentistry in Owings Mills or can you recommend one?

Any information and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So What Happened?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I went with Dr. Neel and I love his practice. He took great care in showing my son how everything worked by using the back of his hand before performing the procedure of cleaning his teeth. He loved the reception room and the fact that he received a token for a toy upon leaving. It was a great experience.

Dr Robert Marcus 409 Main St Reisterstown, MD 21136 ###-###-####. His practice has been very good with my 4 kids. Great staff. What's impressed me most was his ability to motivate my 5yo to stop sucking his thumb. There's toys in the waiting area and prizes in the penguin in an office that's decorated for kids. Movies span from Wall-e to High School Musical. I've had cooperative kids and kids that I've had to hold in my lap. He can recognize when it's not worth pushing a freaked out child and when they're whining/crying out of protest but will sit for the cleaning. Good Luck!

YES, Dr. Neel Satpute is in Pikesville at the Quarry. His practice is called Greenspring Pediatric Dentistry and my older son went there when he was 5 and scared to go to any other dentist, now he loves when I tell him he is going to see Dr. Neel and get surprises. I also have a 3 year old boy who went when he was 2 1/2. He also loves Dr. Neel and even let him clean his teeth. Good luck. Their website is www.greenspringpediatricdentistry.com. I can not imagine your commute, I drive 70 miles a day and it is enough for me. Boys are so much fun:-)

Dr Clemens at Cross Keys. The practice is set up entirely for pediatrics and special needs patients. Games and toys for the children in the waiting room, Cartoons over their heads during the exam, and best of all, Dr. Clemens is great with the kids. He sees my 3 and 4 y/o (and has for the last year). If your son wants to be a big boy, he can sit in the chair by himself. If he is nervous, like my oldest daughter was for her first appointment, he can sit on your lap.

I have to agree with Felicia S. My children love coming to Dr. Neel. They are very excited to play in the waiting room and I did my research in finding a child-friendly dental office. Their website is very informative. Not to mention the staff is EXCELLENT and very patient with little ones. My experiences with other "pediatric" dental offices cannot compare to this office.

Dr. Neel and his staff are very knowledgable they took the time to answer all of my questions during my visit. Dr. Neel even took time after my appointment for additional questions over the phone which made my experience very genuine. I can't express how happy I am with this dental office.
