I went to the dermatologist today and she said that I had rosacea. I did not care for the dermatologist because she rushed me, did not answer my questions, and pushed me off on a nurse that knew nothing about it. Do any of the mom's have it? Do you use a special face cleaner? Any other products you recommend? I have been reading a lot about it, but I want to know what mom's do to fight the triggers and what products you use. Please!!

I have rosacea and it is a tough one to treat. I go to Dr. Chris Crawford in Irving and I really have had good results with him. Metrogel now makes a new gel that has helped and I take a low dose antibiotic that controls the acne. I switched o Cetaphil cleanser and lotion -- very mild and also helped. You can buy it at any drugstore. Triggers for me are overheating, alcohol and stress. Good luck.

Unfortunately, I don't think Rosacea can be cured, but there
are certain products that can help. I would recommend Arbonne
Intelligence skincare line. These products have no chemical
dyes or fragrances, these are the number 1 and number 2 irritants
to your skin. You don't need anything to turn your skin more red.

I would definitely go with the first person who mentioned Arbonne. The intelligence line is great, and if you need a sample to try, I would recommend doing that. I have a sample, but I think someone already offered it to you. Try it out before you purchase, and you'll see the difference. I had a dermatologist rush me, not answer questions and prescribe 4 months worth of a penicillian type medicine!!! That was crazy, and I wasn't about to do that. I used the RE9 set and saw a difference in 2 days! I had perioral dermatitis, and I haven't had problems since then. That was in Novemember.

My mom was recentlly diagnosed with it and sees an AWESOME dermatologist in Fort Worth. It's a 3 month wait to get into him but she literally sat and talked with him for at least 20 minutes and he answered every question possible. My mom was on some kind of cream and it didn't work at all, so she went to see this doctor. My mom's Rosacea hurts her quite a bit, it's a burning feeling so I'm sure you know how that is. She's scheduled to get a face peel, and see how that helps. If you want the doctors name, let me know.
