I am looking for a new foundation. I am pretty fair with normal to dry skin. I am looking for something that will last many hours. I like Sephora, any suggestions...

I'm over the moon for Mary Kay's Mineral Powder foundation - it lasts forever (literally, a container lasts me a whole year & that's with me using it daily and figuratively, it stays on a long time) and fills in any lines/covers blemishes, etc. I'm a redhead so I have fair skin, too. I don't sell it, just swear by it. :) People have told me I don't age, that's only because of the MK, I have 3 kids, believe me, I've aged plenty!

I really like the Smashbox Foundation (High Defintion Healthy FX) and the Smashbox Halo powder. I also use their primer which makes everything go on very nicely. Just be prepared to spend a bit of money at the beginning. And, I would suggest applying the foundation with a brush or better yet with the Beauty Blender (I order this via Amazon).

Hi G.,
I would like to introduce you to Mary Kay foundation. It comes in a variety of formula's. First, we have a mineral powder foundation that blends effortlessly for a flawless look. It makes lines, wrinkles and other imperfections seem to disappear while it provides buildable coverage. Many women love the ease of this product. Next we have a full coverage foundation, because of the characteristic of you skin I would suggest this product for you. The "full" pertains to moisture level of the foundation. Here is what this foundation does; Provides natural-looking, long-lasting even coverage,Provides stay-true, stay-put color,Provides immediate hydration that lasts for six hours,Provides buildable coverage. Both of these products feel very light on the skin and are very reasonably priced. I offer free consultations, with no pressure to purchase. Also, available are free samples. I like for women to try products beforehand to get a feel for the product. And, if you do decide to purchase it is risk free because all of my products are covered by a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so if for any reason you are unhappy with a purchase, you can return it, no questions asked, for a full refund or exchange, your choice! You can't do that at a drug store or cosmetic counter! I like to help my customers eliminate their "makeup graveyard" I live in Plainfield and I am a member of the Plainfield Chamber of Commerce. I would be happy to help you with your foundation needs. Please feel free to call me on my cell at ###-###-#### or visit my site at www.marykay.com/mjones80162

I've worked in the cosmetic industry within different facets for over 8 years. Chanel is my favorite but in this economy I'm not paying $50+ for 1 makeup product. I went to the drugstore and tested every single product I could get my hands on. I too wanted something with a decent coverage yet not too heavy and lasted all day. Loreal Infalible (sp?) is what I found to be the best. It's $12/bottle and I usually wait until Ulta has all of their Loreal products on sale for buy 1 get 1 free. It's a fantastic product for the price and I constantly get complimnets on my makeup and specifically asked what foundation I'm wearing. I even used to wear the $70/bottle Armani foundation which is hailed to be the ultimate makeup within the industry and I sincerely think this Loreal product is just as good.

BTW, the sunscreen in the Loreal foundation I'm talking about is mineral based. I know everyone is on this mineral kick and yes it's great but I have very little time to do my makeup in the morning. Swirling a brush over my face for 5 minutes just to get powder distributed is too much time. I have 10 minutes total and I like to use most of that time on my eyes. So this Loreal Infalible gives you the benefits of wearing a mineral based product but within a liquid form. I prefer liquid much better.

I've been using Bare Minerals for about 5 months now and I love it. It's long lasting (make sure you use the primer) and it covers well. Can be found at Sephora, Ulta, Macy's and a store on Woodfield. I recommend it to everyone.
