I recently relocated to Woodstock, GA from Orlando and am in serious need of a new hair stylist. From what I've seen so far, it's a LOT more expensive here for color and cut. Can anyone recommend a good yet affordable stylist in the Woodstock/Canton or Roswell area? My roots are so bad that I can't stand to look in the mirror right now!! I am almost thinking of waiting until I go back to Orlando in a couple of weeks and getting it done while I'm there but I won't be able to do that every 8 weeks!!
I go to JYL Craven on Hwy 20 (in Canton). It's about 20 mins. from me, but I really like the stylist I use. Her name is Beverly. I think it was about $70 for a haircut and all-over color - which I thought was very reasonable.

Shelly at Salon 124 in Roswell is great at color/highlights, expensive but great job!

I live in Woodstock and have had my hair colored at Salon Venessa on Main St. Dawn did my color, but I think she may be on maternity leave. I found them to be pretty reasonable, but you have to tell them exactly what you want. (I only paid $75 for highlights)
I just moved from Naples, Florida. I have heard a ton of great things about the Three Thirteen or 313 Salon. I think they are expensive. Also there is a Bob Steele Salon closer to Town Center Mall. As a former hairdresser, I know Frameisi haircolor is absolutely wonderful and leaves the hair in the best condition I have seen compared to others. However, the only place I found that carries it is the Roffler Moeler school. I got a bad cut from one of the students there. Also, Matrix is good if you can find a salon there. Look up under topics on this website, because when I did this request a couple of months ago, I got some nice responses. Just haven't tried any yet.
