I am a 23year old stay at home mother/wife. I wake up 6a.m. get(2)kids off to school, then back home.. but I can't seem to ever find energy! I try not to go back to sleep after putting kids on the bus, but I try to keep myself occupied enough to stay awake. I clean and do laundry and take walks/runs, but I can only do so much, I run outta things to do during the day then Im back in bed! I know I need some sort of vitamins, but what kind and where do I get some inexpensive ones that TRULY work! When you go to GNC they try to sell you all kinds of stuff and I can't afford all that! I am over weight alittle, but I think its mainly because of energy problems! Someone help me with some vitamins or find me a friend to keep my days busy..lol...

What can I do next?

A.,

If you haven't already, you should have your doctor check to see if you are anemic or check for any thyroid issues. Otherwise I could bring my 7 month old twin daughters over to keep you busy(and awake)- HA!

What you are going through is not abnormal. You have just gotten yourself into a comfortable rut. Find something new to excite you when all of your chores and resonsibilities are done. I myself went through what you are now experiencing. Now my 5 children are all grown and on their own. what I did in your spot was I started walking a mile a day I did that by walking my kids to school and back home again then i walked back to school to pick them up and returned home. then I started baking new things to fill in my time, that was great fun for me and my family absolutly loved it. Later on I started reading and that to was great I started with things I wanted to learn to help me with the raising of my family and eventually moved to other areas.I still enjoy reading but now its mostly for my entertainment. I also went on to self improvment and started an online course through Penn Foster.edu try it its not that expensive and you work it into your time frame. Try it you may love it and end up with a few degrees before your kids are grown. Look at those possibilities for your future when your not needed as the mommy any more. This avenue will even impress your husband, friens, and family how you managed to be a good wife,a great mom and take care of your home and still acquire an education for your future. Good Luck P.

Hi A.,

Your problem is fairly common...and it can be fixed. First of all, you need to get healthy. Don't worry about the weight right now. It will come off as you begin to take care of yourself.

Getting healthy requires a change of lifestyle. First you have to decide to do it. It is really not all that hard to do. It's just hard to start doing! As you get healthier and get more energy, you'll want to be in the bed less and less.

If your husband is supportive of this idea, I would love to talk to you. Ill be glad to call you or you can call me at ###-###-####. This is not something I can just tell you in a blurb. But I will tell you, once you feel better, you'll never want to go back to the way it was!

Hope I can help!
