Good Deals on Home Decor/artwork

My husband and I moved into a new home 2 years ago. We still have a lot of empty walls, mainly because I am picky about artwork/decor and b/c it is so expensive. I have decided that I just need to get some art on the walls and can replace pieces I don't love over time. Does anyone know of stores or sites where I can find some interesting, but not horribly expensive artwork/decor? I have a graphic design background and like a wide range of styles (modern, eclectic and even primitive), but don't care for heavily floral, country or colonial things.

What can I do next?

Hi...wanted to also add in that Kirkland's is GREAT! And...I get e-mails from them about their sales and they are currently clearancing out a lot of their artwork to make room for holiday decor, so, check them out! Good luck! ~Kimberly

HomeGoods, Hobby Lobby and Michaels all have stuff. The DuPage Art League has some nice stuff, but like anywhere else, it just depends where you will go. Last time I was there, they only took cash or checks.

Homegoods & Hobby Lobby (as mentioned earlier) are really nice. And Home Goods stock is always changing... so you can go back a couple of times and see something different each time you go. Also, Kohl's has good artwork/frames. And if you (or friend/family member) have a Kohl's card, their coupons combined with sales can get you some pretty awesome deals. Also try Cost Plus World Market. They have a lot of posters and you can find a frame at Hobby Lobby (use their 40% off coupon that comes in the Sunday paper).

Good luck. Happy shopping.

I like Hobby Lobby also. Wall decals seem to be the new things right now too. There are a lot of styles on Etsy.com just do a search for wall decal and you will have tons to search through. If that's really not your style there are at least some ideas to look at.
