Good Books for 16 Month-old

Some of my daughter's favorites at this age were:

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? By Eric Carle (also Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you Hear?)

Doggies by Sandra Boynton

Baby's First Words by Roger Priddy (I would highly recommend any of the Roger Priddy "Bright Baby" book collection- they really teach baby all sorts of new words)

Go Dog Go! By P.D. Eastman

Winter Friends by Carl Sams and Jean Stoick

Any book where you have to lift flaps!

There are so many books to chose from, I can understand if your overwhelmed.
You want to look for books that are short and they rhyme.

Sandra Boyton is an author for picture books that rhyme

Those are just a few. Babies Love them, because they short and funny.

Baby Einstein Makes books.

Babies love books where they can lift the flap for a surprise! ( make sure you have tape on hand to paste the book back together.)

Go to the public library and check out the "Hungry Catipiller" and other books by this same author. Carl some buddy (I can't remember the name right now, the librarian in the children's section will know.) They are good stories, lots of color and an eduction about nature.
