Hello,

I went through my DVD's and have close to 100 I'd like to sell. I've tried Craigslist with not much luck. I know Half Price will take them but I'm thinking it wouldn't be much back to me. Does anyone know of any DVD resale shopsor other ideas?

My hubby does this thing called swaptree. I think you can sell or trade dvds. We have traded a couple, it was pretty cool. Good luck!

I'm not sure how much you get for them but I sometimes buy DVD's from pawn shops.

Other options are ebay, or a store like Hastings, if you have one in your area.

Hastings will give you store credit towards the purchase or rental of one of their titles...makes it pretty easy to swap out older stuff you don't watch anymore with newer stuff you want..

Today I saw a business on 183in North Austin. It is called Planet Replay. It says they buy used DVD's.. You should give them a call and see if they will give you an idea of how much they pay.

I think Blockbuster purchases used DVDs. Call and ask them.

Also remember when the UT students come back to town, they are famous for purchasing DVD's from Craigslist...

You never get much for them unless they are really current or a collectors edition..
