I am wanting to sell my daughters clothing that she has grow out of, and I would like to make some money, but I do not have the time or enough things to set up a garage sale. I have good name brand clothing from newborn to size 4T. I have tried to sell a little on ebay, but it was more work than I want to put into it. Anyone have any other ideas about how to sell clothing?

What can I do next?

I would try using a children's consignment/resale shop. They will sort through your clothes, take what they think will sell, and give you a percentage of the profits back. You can either take cash back or use it as credit in the store to buy "new" clothes for your daughter! Or you could list them on Craigs List. It's free to list them, so you don't have much to loose!

Look for a Mom 2 Mom sale in your area. They're great because moms looking for clothes for their kids will look for the sales. At a garage sale, you have to advertise & do all the leg work. Being a seller at a M2M sale, you just pay for table space, bring & set up your stuff, and the buyers come to you. It's usually much shorter than yard sales (one morning vs. 2-3 days) and all buyers are looking for your product. Tell a friend and get tables next to each other so you can chat. It's fun. Good luck!

Mom 2 Mom sales are awesome!! Go to www.mom2momlist.com to find one near you!! Have fun! Oh and you can price your stuff a little higher than garage sale pricing if its name brand and in good condition!!

If you want to make money.. sell it on ebay. I have seen used outfits sell for more than 10.

YOu can also sell clothing on craigslist.net-- generally sells by a lot.. (like all girls 2T winter clothing)

I think I have gotten about $1 a piece for clothing on craigslist.

Tehre are several kids resale stores that buy clothing. I dont know what is near your home.

Craigslist is pretty good and you can just put them online and set a price. There is no negotiating and no haggling. www.craigslist.org

There is a great children's consignment shop in downtown Lake Orion called Twice Blessed. They give you 50% of what your item sells for, and the shop is super cute. Give them a call to find out when you can bring in your items to sell.
