Looking to get the ducts cleaned in our home...BUT don't want someone that doesn't do a good job and I also don't want to pay 500. for the duct work to be cleaned..any suggestions
I've been calling around and it's $225 for exposed duct work.
We used Safety King in Shelby Twp, but the price was probably closer to $500 to have the actual duct work done - they went all the way inside all the ducts, not just cleaning from the vents. I was amazed at the amount of dirt they got out!!! I highly recommend it.
American Power Vac does a good job and is slightly less expensive than Safety King. You don't want to go for a cheap duct cleaner because it won't really clean your ducts, to get a strong enough suction you need one of those trucks with the balloons out of the top. That is what I was told by someone in the business.
I went through Irish Mist Duct Cleaning ###-###-####. I thought they were pretty good. They cleaned out all my ducts for alittle over $300 I believe which I thought was pretty reasonable.
