Hi there,
I want to use a dry shampoo, but not sure what brands are 1. good 2.easy access (don't want to have to go to salon or mall everytime I need it) 3. won't break the bank.
A friend uses a spray version by Fekkai but she said it was like hair spray and I don't really want something of that texture.
what do you love and would recommend?
FYI: hair is shoulder lenghth, fine, but a lot of hair.
TIA Mammas!

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your recommendations. I am going to hit Ulta this weekend and see what sample of the various brands I can purchase and give them a test run for my hair.
I will probably end up skipping the Treseme, though. Never been impressed witht their products as a whole.
This has saved me so much time!! Yeah.

I just bought a bottle of TreSemme (sp?) dry shampoo last weekend. It's a foam that pumps out & the type I got was for fine-medium oily-regular hair. My hair is actually pretty thick and not oily at all so I just use a few extra pumps to really get it through all of it. I've used it twice & am happy with it. It smells kind of citrusy and just makes it shiny & bouncy again without looking greasy on the 2nd day.

I absolutely love Rockaholic Dirty Secret by TIGI. I buy mine at Ulta for about $20, and it lasts me quite a while. It is a spray version, as well. You spray it at the roots (it will turn white) then rub it in. I like it because I have super oily skin and this stuff absorbs really well so my hair doesn't look greasy between washings. Don't know if you might could find it elsewhere.......maybe Target???? Anyways, good luck!!

I second the Tresemme. It is easy to find and seems to work pretty well. And it is only five bucks or so.

I'm using Kenra Platinum dry shampoo that I got at Ulta. They have it in a trial size. I've also used Salon Graphix(SG) brand and it's good and is in the regular product side of Ulta. TIGI just came out with one too.

I tried TreSemme's dry shampoo and it didn't to make my hair any less oily. Based on the recommendations you received, I tried Kenra today and it really works. It's quite a bit more expensive than TreSemme ($19 per bottle versus $4), but I don't mind spending the extra money for something that works.
