I haven't taken my kids to the dentist since our insurance changed. We now have Delta Dental of Missouri. My old dentist isn't listed with them so I have to find someone new. I'm hoping to find a dentist that good with children; I have 3 kiddos. My oldest daughter never got all of her teeth, and she hasn't lost a single one either. She's almost 7. I don't know if its possible, but I want to see if there is something that can be done for the gaps where the teeth never came in. Thanks for any suggestions!
Depends on where you live. We have Delta. Regarding the teeth...they may be there just not though the gums even at her age. I would get her in asap.
We go to a Dr. in the LS area that is good. Bower. He and his brother own a business together.

try the kids denistry its dr rodman but dr pulina is the best my kids love him the number is ###-###-#### its in gladstone off 72nd street...DO NOT GO TO DR MARX...my daughter supposedly had 4 cavities..he filled one then referred us to rodmans office...they were only stains on her teeth..i went to marx since i was 7 and have a whole mouth full of fillings
Not sure if they take Delta or not, but Dr. Hemberger was my dentist and he was FABULOUS. I was never afraid to go to the dentist growing up and he did my orthodontics, too. He's still in practice in Johnson County, KS (not sure where you are).
Mr kids went to Dr. Rodman too. Great doctor. When they turn 12 he refers them to an adult doctor. Now my kids and I go to Dr. Lance Miller in Creekwood off or North Oak Trafficway. He does beautiful work and is a Delta Premier dental office.

Finding a new dentist can be scary, especially with kids. I don't know where you live, but we just love our dentist. His name is Steven Schulte & he practices in Lenexa, KS. He is wonderful with kids AND nervous adults. We have Delta, too. He is a wonderful dentist and a really good person and I'm sure he will know what to do about your daughter's teeth.
My nine year old goes to Dr. Okerstrom, who is a wonderful orthodontist (recommended by Dr. Schulte.) He had a lot of crowding, even in his baby teeth, and Dr. O. has done wonders in his mouth. As with anything, I'm sure early intervention is key.

We have Delta Dental and our kids go to the children's dentist, Kurt Aarons. He's located between the Plaza & Westport, near 44th & Belleview. Fabulous! After the kids started with Dr Aarons, we discovered Dr James Throckmorton in Brookside with Alpine Chalet Dentistry. He's great also.
