Date Night

Hello! I am looking for suggestions for fun places to go and/or things to do on date night. My husband and I go out about once/month, usually on a Saturday night for 3-4 hours. We live in Bloomington and tend to go out to dinner and then something else-often times we end up at The Galleria. Anyone have fun places we could go to dinner, or a fun activity that wouldn't keep us out super late, but still be fun?

What can I do next?

Do some fun, creative, and interesting things. Type in the words "fun things to do" on the internet and there are lots of lists and ideas. Here are a few from the "dating" section, and a few from other sections.
Get dressed up, order in Chinese food, and eat it in front of a fire (and I'll add ... by a pitfire or in a romantic and/or a sentimental spot). Go moon dancing. Go to a movie with the most letters or the least letters. Have a candlelit supper under the stars. Drive seperate cars and meet your husband and pretend you're meeting him for the first time. Go to the Yellow Pages and pick the fifth restaurant - eat the fifth entree and order the fifth dessert. Play pool. Rent a cheap hotel room - enjoy a few hours together.

The list goes on and on ... but, it will give your some ideas on switching up your date night. Also, Nina's (in Burnsville on Hwy 13 & Cliff Road - next to Denny's) has pool tables, MegaTouch Games, and some other video games. Also, they have 2-for-1's (on domestic beer, bar/rail drinks, etc.) from 3pm to 6pm and from 9pm - 1:00am. A small, but fun bar.

We too do date night once a month and the dinner thing is getting old. My husband suggested a movie in a theatre. The zoo or a museum is another idea. Maybe time at home without kids. A walk in the park.

Lately we have gone bowling, Super fun, rather easy and active too.

Another is local area Theaters, cheaper than the big ones, but still quite enjoyable.
