I have some frozen manicotti. How much additonal cook time should I add?

Should I defrost a little in the microwave first?

They are totally prepared, with cheese, sauce, etc. I just never cooked them.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I made them, so there are no directions! I usually add 30 minutes onto my lasagna. These are about half as thick, so I'm thinking an extra 15 might do it, but I don't know.

I cooked it too long. Next time I won't add extra time on.

I make my manicotti and stuffed shells from scratch and freeze individually.

When daughter come in and wants something fast, she will do a quick minute in microwave then add sauce and finish out with sauce and cheese. She is notorious for coming in late and making this herself with my ready prepared marinara that I keep on hand .

If I prepare a dinner from frozen like that, I do a little pre-thaw then bake slowly until all is hot and bubbly.

I thaw things in the microwave first, then cook the regular amount of time.

What does the package say?

I'd say put it in the oven covered at 350'F for about 45 minutes, then uncover for 15 additional minutes.

Check it occasionally. If you see it bubbling from the center, it's heated through and you can reduce the cooking time. It's difficult to know for sure as I can't see how thick it is.

Probably will take about 45 mins. Is there no directions on the bag? I make stuffed shells. I dump the frozen stuffed shells in a dish. Cover with spaghetti sauce cover and bake.

I make my own and freeze individually. When ready to eat, I put them in a dish, cover with sauce and cheese and bake for 45 mins @ 350...starting completely frozen, no thaw necessary.
