Anyone know of a good place to take my soon to be 6 month old daughter to get photos taken? I want it to be affordable where I can order enough and send to family members. She has already had a "portrait" done when she was 3 months. I know there is Target, Sears, JCPenney...any other suggestions?
I have always used Sears. if you pay $29.00 it is good for two years of sitting fees then just go online and you can print off coupons from their web site and get 1 8x10 2 5x7 4 3x5 and like 16 wallets for under $10.00 they also will give you a web link that all your family can go to to see all the pictures tat your child took.

I went to Walmart with my kids. They have the whole package for about $6 and you don't pay any sitting fee. They try a few pictures and the firs you accept will be for the package. However, they will take 6 more different poses. You are not obligated to buy anything. If you choose so, one sheet will cost $10. I think it is affordable, especially if you take just the package.

I have great place to go in south east aurora. It is new. It is called Portrait innovations and they are next to Target on Gartrell (right off e-470) They have a deal going where you get 1 10x13, 2 8x10, 4 5x7, 4 3.5x5, 32 wallets and 6 christmas cards for $10!!! It is one pose but totally worth it. They have a christmas vignette as well as a room with all sorts of backgrounds.
Are you looking for something that's not a studio like a professional photographer? If so I highly recommend Lamb Photography http://www.thelambphoto.com/ . The prices are very reasonable in terms of professional photography, and the photographer is very understanding of children, being a mom herself. I've been having take pics of my child every 3 months for a while now, as well as a couple of family photo shoots including Christmas pics. She's great to work with.
Otherwise there are studios like Kiddie Kandids and Picture People. Both of which are pretty pricey in terms of studios compared to Target, Sears and JCP which is why I never went with them. I've used JCP and Sears before, Sears I was happy with, JCP, not so much.
