My husband is one of the groomsman in a wedding on Saturday. I had planned for my son to wear nice pants and a shirt, but thought it would be cute for him to look like his Daddy and match! (no flower girls or ringbearers in the wedding, so no other kiddos in tuxes) I called tuxedo shop and they want a fortune for a small tuxedo suit for a child. It is a western type wedding and the guys are wearing starched jeans and boots so all I would need for my son is the jacket and tuxedo tie. He would probably need a size 2T. Does anyone have one they won't use anymore or any suggestions on where to get one inexpensively before Saturday. (don't really have time to search all the consignments shops around!) Have you tried JCPenney? I know they carry suits for little boys... not sure about tuxedos or how small they go but it may be worth a look. They always have a sale and there are additional dollar off coupons this weekend that you can pick up at the door on your way in. Hope this helps! Thanks!

Syms has a kid section for suits, ties, etc. which makes me think they would have tuxedo jackets/tie. They are reasonable as well. If you are going South on 75, you would exit 15th St and take a right. It will be on your right after the first shopping center. I would call them at ###-###-#### first to make sure they have them.

It's probably a far drive for you from McKinney but if you can, you should try the Sam Moon shopping center at the intersections of highways 635 and 35 in Dallas. The center has 2 bridal stores where you can purchase tuxes for little boys (including 2T) from $20 and up. I'm not sure if they'll just sell you just the jacket and tie, though, 'cause everything comes as a set with the pants and white shirt, too, but it's worth a try. I've seen them at Burlington Coat factory for around $20-$30 or I've also seen them at Dillards but they are a bit pricey.
Burlingtons also has slacks, vest and ties sets that are cute if you can't find the tux in his size. I've gotten those for as little as $12.
Ebay is the cheapest! You may be able to buy one and have it overnighted. :O) Good luck!
