7 1/2 Month Old Not Sleeping Through the Night, Anymore.

For the past few nights, my 7 1/2 month old will wake up every 2 hours crying. This is very unusual for him as he normally sleeps from 8:30pm to 7:00am. He doesn't have a fever and doesn't appear to be sick and is relatively happy during the day. He doesn't have any teeth so I thought it could be his gums... anyone have any ideas, suggestions or similar experiences?

I agree that it is either his ears or teething. My son started doing this when he started teething.

My son is 8 months & everytime he gets an ear infections he wakes up in the middle of the night. See the dr to get it cleared up. And he will start sleeping through the night again.

My son was doing the same thing a few months ago. He is 1 year old. I started giving him more to eat to fill up his belly and I would also give him some Tylenol before he went to bed and he has not done it since.

Teething or ear infection. You might try advil/motrin at bed time and see if that helps. If he's still doing in after a couple days, might want to have his ears checked.

Both my boys had ear infections without fevers or any discomfort during the day. If it keeps up, I would have his ears checked, just to be safe.
