Avent vs Medela

Hello ladies! We just had out second child and are ecstatic! Without first we weren't able to nurse and did formula but this time we are breast feeding and things are going great! Unfortunately I will have to go back to work so I've started pumping and storing. I'm very committed toonly using breastmilk this time and plan on nursing when home. Does anyone know which are better bottles/nipples that will not interfere too much with nursing? I've done some online research which said avent newborn nipples or the medela nipples are best for...

"Cereal and "The Bottle"

My 2 month old has reflux and is "starving" by late afternoon. The dr said it would be ok to start her on cereal in the evenings. 1 teaspoon per ouce...so, 4 teaspoons total! We use the Dr. Brown bottles. Nothing comes out!! So, I bought the Avent "thicker" flow nipples and bottle. It drowns her! Suggestions??? Thanks!

Feedback on Avent Breast Pump

Hi Moms. Have any of you used the Avent iQ duo electric breast pump? If so, please let me know your opinions. Does it come with a battery pack or bag? I don't necessarily NEED those things, but just curious. I cannot afford the Medela pump, and we have Avent bottle that we used with our first and plan on using with our second (who is coming soon - yah!) Anyway, I have read multiple reviews online from those who used this pump and they are generally positive, but I thought I'd ask the opinions of my fellow Mamapedia moms :) Looking for info...

Advice on Pumping

I am begining to come to terms with the fact that I have to go back to work in 8 weeks. I need to up my supply of stored milk because m son WILL NOT drink formula. I have started pumping but am only getting about 6-8 ounces daily. So here are my questions. 1. When is the best time to pump? 2. What is the safest way to increase my supply? 3. Will ANY of this affect my son who currently is fed on-demand?
