Enfamil Vs. Similac

I was wondering how important it is to keep your baby on the same formula or is it ok to switch. When my baby was born she wasn't able to nurse and my milk hadn't come in, so we supplemented her with Enfamil. Now I am able to provide her expressed breastmilk, but I know it won't last. So here I sit with many, many samples of Enfamil and Similac formula. I hate to give one brand away because it is so expensive so I was wondering if and when the time comes to give her formula, can I just use both?

Breast Pumping Question

Hi - I have a nine month old little girl. she is in daycare and i work full time. i am pumping at work twice a day. i get about 2.5 to 3 ounces each time a pump but she is drinking more then that at daycare. I really don't want to have to use formula. She is eating solid foods but still loves her breast milk. I also love to nurse so I am scared if i give her formula she might not want to nurse any more. I want to nurse her until she is atleast a year. Any auggestions? Thank you!

Breast Pumping Troubles

I am confused about how long I should continue pumping. I nursed for the first six weeks until i went back to work. For the first week or so i was working she would still lactch and i was able to nurse at home. By week two at work, she wouldnt lactch and i had to swith to strictly pumping. My milk supply continues to diminish as time goes on, and i have tried the tricks to increase but it just seems to keep diminishing. She is now at 14 weeks and i am only pumping 8-10oz a day. Needless to say we have to supplement. She is drinking at...

How Long to Dry up Breast Milk and How to Do It.

My son was born on the 23rd of Dec and I have been breastfeeding. I wanted to at least give him the immunities that only breast milk can offer. Now I'm ready to be done, it's so uncomfortable but I wanted to know how long it takes for your milk to dry up, and what I need to do to dry up my breast milk. I've never done this before so I have no clue. I feel really guilty because I'm not like a lot of other moms that can breastfeed for however long they want, and I wish I could do it for my son but I can't. My husband doesn't understand why I...
