Hello Ladies,

this is kind of a personal question, but I need some advice. I am currently prego with #3 and I now have my 2nd yeast infecton in ths same pregnancy. It is under my bust and Very tender. My doc called in a presciption for me, and I started it today, but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help me avoid it happening again. I am very large busted and it does get moist under there. And yes, I do keep myself clean, I shower every night and put powder under my breasts to help prevent problems like this, if anyone has any sugestions so that I can avoid this hapening again I would appreciate it!

Thank you in advance for your responses!

I had to pretty much live in a bra unless I was sleeping (I just can NOT sleep with a bra on). I put it on as soon as I woke up and took it off just before going to bed. I had to do the same thing for a few months after my daughter was born too. She was born in June so the sweat and the milk left things always moist.
The powder I used was Caldesene Baby Cornstarch Power with Zinc Oxide in the blue bottle http://www.caldesene.com/product#cornstarch
I would alternate with Triple Paste http://www.triplepaste.com/ Mine never became yeast infections but I got some nasty sweat rashes. I liked the Triple Paste more when it got itchy. A&D and a few others didn't work as well for me.

Apple cider vinegar will help to get rid of it. You can drink some and also wash with it. Along with acidophilus take Saccharomycin. I was having lots of problems after my daughter was born and was told to take both and boy did it help.

There are a few things that will work. Like someone else already mentioned, Braggs apple cider vinegar. Colloidal silver spray, or coconut oil. Also, taking acidophilus would help your Ph balance. All of these can be found at a health food store.

look in the incontinence dept....sorry!....& buy the "barrier cream". It's a heavy-duty lotion/creme that protects your skin from wetness.

It truly, truly works! It's very thick & you have to scrub it off the next day while showering.

A couple of other thoughts: pump up the yogurt...it will help! AND what's your blood sugar levels running at? Gestational diabetes/glucose intolerance will increase your risks for yeast infections.

Get some Bragg's brand Apple Cider Vinegar with the "mother" and dilute it with a bit of water. Wipe under your breasts in the morning and evening and you'll never get yeast problems under there again! If you have itching it might burn for a few seconds but then the itch will go away for good.
