Stupid Try Me Stickers!

I'm sure one of you ladies will have better ideas than me! You know when a toy comes w/a sticker on it such as 'Try Me' and you have to pull it off. I try so hard, but I never get the sticker off w/out leaving sticker residue. So... any tips on how to get the sticker stuff off w/out removing the paint? I assumed products such as nail polish remover would affect the paint too. And of course I can think of the tedious sitting there scratching it off.

You Mamas have such great ideas, so hopefully you will here too! Thanks!

What can I do next?

I always use rubbing alcohol. Try it on the bottom to make sure it won't damage it first.

i always use a damp cloth of water before trying to remove the sticker. it works after also, but may have to put some 'nail' action into it.

I swear by WD40. Probably similiar to olive oil; works like a charm every time.
