I use both the "Even Better Skin Tone Corrector" and the "Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector".

I love them both. The "Clinical" product goes on so smoothly and I saw a definite difference in my skin. I"m bummed because I just ran out and yes, it is expensive.

My advice, if you are going to purchase this item, is to get it somewhere like Lord & Taylor because they give samples and you can ask for a sample of the "Even Better Skin Tone Corrector". The sample is pretty big and lasted me a few months.

Macy's will not give samples. I keep trying and they keep saying no.

Hi,
I have worked for Clinique for 14 years. The Even Better Clinical is an excellent product if used properly. It also depends on how long the discoloration has been there. The older the spot, the longer it will take to break up. It also won't work on things you were born with.
To get optimal results use twice a day with a moisturizer and you must use sunscreen daily. Clinique suggests that you must use three bottles to get optimal results that would be comparable to what a dermatologist would prescribe to you. One bottle should last a month. Even at $50 a bottle, it still cheaper than a trip to the derm and a prescription.
Clarifying lotion is also an important part. It will help exfoliate away what the Even Better is loosening up. Even Better also will inhibit new spots from forming. Go to your local Clinique counter and get a demonstration. Unfortunately we do not get samples to hand out like we used to back in the 90's. And with this product, a sample size is not going to show much result.
Macys is getting ready to have bonus time here in Florida. Not sure about where you live, but you would get a nice free guft w/ your purchase. We do bonus time twice a year.

Good luck!

I also have them. Aside from my freckles, which unfortunately my daughter inherited them, I also have these tiny dark spots in my face. I just try to place foundation to cover them.
