My granddaughter is two years old.she has had 6 operation.she was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Synadrome.She still have one more surgery to go.That is to close the whole in her heart.Prevously @ the last hosptal they allowed er to break her glasses.my daughter is on the medical card where they only pay for one pair per year.We're in need

Call your community governmental office and get the number of your local Lions Club. The Lions Club helps out people with eye problems and glasses. Your community could be a village, city or township. Any of these offices will have the number. Please call today and get the help you need!
There is an organization called the Simple Gifts Foundation out of West Chicago. They help with medical expenses. I do not know what the requirements are to get assistance but you could contact them.

Contact Illinois Early Intervention. Your granddaughter might be eligible for services (therapy, etc.). Search "Child and Family Connections Illinois". You should be able to locate a chart of CFC's and their locations as well as their service areas according to zip code.
