Seeking Affordable HVAC Service in Metro Atlanta

Hi Mamas,
Can anyone recommend an affordable, reliable HVAC business in Smyrna/Atlanta? Our A/C went out last summer and we'd like to get it fixed. We've got our second due at the end of May, and I want a nice cool house to bring her home to!

What can I do next?

Hi there! Unfortunately, I do not know what company to recommend, but I can share the name of company with which I was very dissatisfied. Mechanics Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC ###-###-####). While they were able to come out and service my AC unit the day after I called, it only took minutes to have a $20 diagnostic service turn into over a $300 service call. And the man who serviced the AC unit was here for less than a 1/2 an hour. He was only working for a few minutes on the issue. My husband and I were outraged and we tried to negotiate with them. We received a 10% discount, but only after the service person witnessed me type an email praising their services (a move I regretted). Anyway, I thought I'd at least share my negative experience so you know to stay away from them. :) Good luck!

Hi J.,

We recently had to replace our A/C and the company we worked with was Coolray. They were very reasonable and we quick to come out. Our A/C went out in August on a Friday, which was probably one of the hottest days of the year! They came out that same day and let us borrow stand alone A/C units until they could come out and replace our entire system on Monday. I definitely recommend them.

I don't know about affordable ( is any service?) but as far as great service and really nice I use Castelle Heating and Air. You can look them up on Kuduz.com

I always recommend Spencer Heating and Air and Peachtree Service Experts to my clients; both are great companies.
