Looking for OB/GYN Good with Fertility Issues in SW/W Metro Area

My hubby and I have been trying (not always consistently) to conceive for about 2 yrs. now. We currently have one child, almost 5 yrs. old, and it took us 2 yrs. for him. I had a chemical pregnancy end last week (first time), and I've been extremely disappointed with the response and lack of sensitivity from my current OB/GYN's office. Does anyone have an OB/GYN that they absolutely love and that's good with fertility issues? I live in SW Mpls., so someone in my area, Edina, Minnetonka, St. Louis Park, etc. would be great. Also, any referrals on which hospital to deliver at would be great as well. (My son was born in a different state, so I'm starting from scratch here.)

What can I do next?

Antoher vote for Obstretics, Gynecology, and Infertility in Edina. Dr. Frank Czerniecki is my doc for my previous and now my current pregnancy. He was referred to me by a friend after we had issues with infertility and my previous clinic was not at all helpful. I have also hear wonderful things about Drs Rice, Baker, and Brown, although the female docs at that clinic can be hard to get in to. Good Luck!! I delivered at Fairview Southdale as well 3 years ago and it was ok, and I believe the maternity floor has been renovated since then. The practice also devivers from North Memorial in mlps which I have heard is good and will start at the new maple grove hospital opening next year, I believe.

I love Dr. Martin Immerman at Paul Larson OB/GYN in Edina. I had fertility issues and he helped us conceive both our babies. That facility is new and all the doctors there are top knotch. It's also right next to Fairview Southdale where I delivered both babies. Great hospital.

Hi Alica -

A good friend who had fertility issues (and who now has a healthy 6-week old son) really loved her fertility ob/gyn, Donna Block. The link to her clinic is below.

Good luck!

Dear A.,
First of all, let me say how sorry I am for our loss. My heart goes out to you. My husband & I also had to go through months & months of fertility issues. Someone had recommended Dr. Baker at Obstetrics Gynecology & Infertility P.A. She is absolutely awesome! But I've also had to be seen on occassion by a couple of her associates, Dr. Rice & Dr. Brown, both of which were involved in my delivery & were also excellent. I HIGHLY recommend there office & I know for a fact that they have one in Edina! Here's the link to their website: http://obgynmn.com/

Good luck~

I have the best doctor to reccommend. Her name is Doctor Lisa Baker and she has been rated #1 in the Twin Cities for many years in a row in the Twin Cities Top Doctors. I too went through fertility issues in trying to concieve my first son and she helped us through that. She has a great "bed side manner" and is truely concerned about her patients. She practices in a group of doctors...all of which are great. The practice is Obstectrics, Gynecology and Infertility. They have an office in Edina. There phone is ###-###-####. We now have two busy little boys that I am truely thankful for. Good luck and I hope this helps!
