How to Remove Mold Stain from Clothes?

If it's a white shirt I pour bleach directly on the mold nad let it sit for several hours (usually overnight but thats because I forget about it and don't remember about it for a while) and then I was it. It sometimes takes 2 times of doing that but it does come out. Unfortunately I do it all the time with the pool clothes and when he plays outside and gets wet. If its a color item I use either Shout or Spray N Wash and let it sit for overnight again. It does come out. I've done it a lot and it works every time. Good luck.

I think Spray n' Wash is great. I would drench it, run hot water through it, and leave it in the bright sun for a day.

Hello! I understand your frustration.

Here's what I've tried in the past that has worked - depending upon the stain and the length of time it has been since it was treated:

Resolve Max - you may have to wash (NOT DRY) several times.

Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide - let set for about 2 hours and wash.

I would avoid chlorine bleach alone as it will probably eat the shirt if left on too long.

I had success with using OxyClean spray on a mold stain, but it took several applications and trips through the washing machine, then letting it dry in the sun. I think I did about 5 cycles of this (letting the OxyClean sit for several hours before washing) before the stain went away.
