My children need a new pediatrition. We moved here about a year ago for my husband to go to school and haven't been able to find a good doctor for my kids. All the recomended doctors I've called aren't accepting medicaid. Right now I dread taking my kids to the doctor because I feel like he's trying to make me feel like a bad mother when my son was 3- 4 months old he tried making me feel guilty that he wasn't sleeping through the night and it's been little things like that every time. If I have to I'll just wait it out until my husband graduates but any suggestions would be welcome. Thankfully by first
child had a wonderful pediatrition so I know there a good doctors out there. Thanks for your help.

What can I do next?

I don't know where you are. If you are in st. LOuis, here's the number of my pediatrician... don't know if they take medicaid, but you can ask.

I go to Preferred Pediatrics. They are in South county - near 55 and lindbergh.

I especially like Dr. Anderson, and there's a new doctor (a woman) who I've seen and really like too.

Dr Earl Beeks Jr. ###-###-#### for address and info. I moved here from California and i never thought I find good medical attention for my kids on Medicaid. His wife Esther Beeks is a dentist and works in the same building, always crowded but always worth the wait.

Never go back to a Dr who makes you feel like you are a bad parent. I take my kids to Southwest Ped. It's in South City, near Ted Drewes. I have seen all the Drs in the past, they are all great. We see Dr. Spewak, but I like them all. They fit you in when your kid is sick. Only down side is there isn't a separate waiting area for well and sick kids.
Pediatricians are almost more for you than your kid, if they can't handle a stressed out parent (who probably hasnt slept) then they need to find a new line of work. Good luck with your search. We had to find a new ped last year when ours moved. It wasn't easy to find someone we had gotten comfortable with.

We use Dr. Sara Cole, DO in Creve Coeur. ###-###-#### they are located on Olive in the medical building next to St. Johns. She is awesome! I had a terrible time finding a DO that took Medicaid, but am very happy that we found her!
