Sure, you could be. Have you taken a home pregnancy test? Are your periods regular? You won't necessarily have definable symptoms this early, though some women will have them pretty early on.

It is pretty easy to get a reasonably reliable answer.

BTW, I did a lot of research on home pregnancy tests, just buy Wal-Mart's Equate brand. You can get a two pack (in case you need to retest in a few days) for the price of many singles and they are as accurate as name brands--we're talking deviations of .01%

I hope you get the answer you want.

Very good possibility. Missing a period is usually the very first clue. Give it a few more days. Get a pregnancy kit if you like and follow the directions. Take good care of yourself..... need to do this whether you are pregnant or not, and so does hubby. Eat well, get your rest, live at peace with yourself and others. If you want to know more from "Gr'ma", just let me know. Bless you. I will pray for you which ever way it turns out.

My OB says to wait till you are a week past your expected period and if you still haven't started take a test. That way if you have a faint positive but then do start you wont be disappointed. Something like 25% of all pregnancies end up not being viable and early pregnancy tests just don't help that fact at all. I did this back in Dec. and a week later "miscarried". (which was just a regular period) If I had waited and not taken the test I would have never known and thought I was just late. So my advice is wait till a week late then test if you don't start. Good luck!!!

The best way to find out if you are pregnant would be to take an at home pregnancy test. You can get them at they dollar store for a buck. Where you're only two days late there are many other reasons why you haven't had your period yet. Stress is a major one. Other ones could be a hormone imbalance, starting a new job and you're body is trying to sync up with the other women you work with. And of course pregnancy. You're best bet would be to "pee on a stick" and find out if you are pregnant or not.

Well you sure could be:) At this point if you take a test it should show what is up. I would use a first response test as you are still early. I was reading about tests and they are the most sensitive tests on the market apparently. If you test and it comes back negative, just try in a few more days. If you still get a negative test and have no period then I would call the dr. Best wishes!

Don't try to pin it down to a specific date. Your body is changing. I'm much older than you and I wouodn't worry until I skip a month.

As the three women before me have stated, of course, you could be pregnant. I know very little about pregnancy tests so I will defer to others' advice which seems to be the best bet for certainty. If I'm understanding dates correctly, you are three days late. I would also consider that you may be stressed or experiencing some other life effect that could be changing your cycle slightly. Even on a birth control pill that keeps me very regular (as with most women), when I am particularly stressed (work, life in general, coming back from illness, etc) my cycle will change. I thought I'd throw that idea out there as a possibility as well.

Short answer to a difficult question - take a pregnancy test. they are easy to get and aren't very expensive.

If you don't want hubby to know or get excited about the possibility - pick one up on the way to school or work and take it there.

If you're not pregnant, chances are your body has gotten out of kilter because of stress or something like that. Our bodies are strange like that. Give it a few more weeks and see what happens. If you still don't have a period within the month call your OBGYN for a check up.
