So What Happened?

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I've decided not to use the Acai berry products. I'm going to try slim fast for awhile and watch what I eat.

I hear wonderful things about the energy-producing effects of this berry. I can link you to the science behind it if you want. My company sells it in an Isotonic formula. That means it is 95% absorbed into your body in 5-10 minutes. And, it is shelf stable so you don't have to consume it right away.

Let me know if I can help!

Hi M.---I have heard great things about how many nutrients are in the acai berry. I use it occasionally in my smoothies. I buy it frozen at Whole Foods. It is expensive. But acai should only be a small part of your nutrition and healthy eating plan.

I am currently undergoing certification to be a Wellness Educator and have learned some great strategies for good health. Choose your diet, all the food that you eat, on the basis of what will promote optimal health. It should consist primarily of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes, using animal products sparingly. We should be eating 9 to 13 servings of fruits and veggies each day, and a large variety is probably more important than the quantity (think in terms of color-different colors provide different antioxidants).

I have access to a number of strategies and can help you develop a plan to change your eating habits. I do not charge for consultation. I just really enjoy helping people. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions. I would also like to invite you (and any other mom in the Detoit area) to a health education event on Feb 19 in Troy. The group that I work with sponsors these as often as possible. It will help provide knowledge and support that you could use in establishing optimal diet and lifestyle habits. Call me at ###-###-#### (mobile) or send a personal email to ____@____.com. I look forward to talking to you. In health, D.

I'm trying Acai Burn. I've only been using it for 3 days. I've lost 2 pounds. I was surprised I don't feel shaky like some diet pills make you and it doesn't bother my stomach. You're suppose to take it 30 minutes before breakfast and dinner. Along with taking it I watch what I eat, don't eat after 7 pm and exercise for atleast 45 minutes a day. Also I don't have a lot to loose, I'm 130 want to be 120 and I've been watching what I eat and exercising for the last year daily. So I would say it works. I've been stuck for months, it's the only thing I've changed.

M., I'm certain you will like it. I'm a distributor for MonaVie & would recommend the 19 fruits within the juice that your body needs. 2 oz. twice per day & you feel great, (I guess I'm not supposed to say that I lost weight because of the lack of want for food, but I'm saying it anyway)! It has all the nutrients needed plus more & nothing is in the juice that would hurt you. I don't believe you can find it in too many stores, but you can contact me or any one of our distributors in the Macomb or Oakland County areas. If you'd like to try a bottle or sample it, we could meet or you can contact me at ____@____.com

yes and I love it. There is a great organic one at vitacost.com for only $15. they have a flat shipping cost of $4.95 no matter how big your order. Plus if you go through ebates.com you earn 5% back. And there is no auto-ship at this store so you will not be billed for something you do not want.

M.,

I was very excited to try the Acai Berry product so my husband ordered it for me. After all its a free sample for only 5.95. Well here is what they don't tell you. You have 15 days from the day it ships to you to return it. If you fail to return it within that 15 day times period your credit card will be charged 88.92 for the pills.

I can't afford to pay 94.87 a month for these pills. They will continue to send then to you and charge your credit card each month until you call and cancel.

I never ended up taking the pills because I wanted to get them back to the supplier before I was charged.

If you can afford this than give it a try. From what I read it does work but at a very high price.

Best of luck!
P.

Hi M.,
I am a certified nutritional counselor and have friends who sell the mona vie acai berry product. I used it for 2 months and felt nothing. I eat well already so I'm not concerned about my need for nutrition through the juice. It typically takes at least 30 days for your body to absorb a new supplement anyway. What I have started taking is Max GXL and Max WLX. I feel amazing. I honestly can't stop talking about it and sharing it with everyone I know. The GXL is a glutathione accelerator and the WLX works with your body's leptin levels. Both are natural occuring substances in your body so it's not a supplement adding something else to your body. I think they are both great products. Good luck!
