THere is a place on Ridgewood in South Daytona called The Jumpy Place. It's inexpensive and a great place to take your kids to jump around, blow off some energy and give you a chance to chat with other moms. Great for a rainy day. Another rainy day option is Creative Playthings in Ormond, on Granada. For $1-2 your kids can play on their playground equipment and in their playroom, which has tons of fun stuff to do, including a swingset, a trampoline, and lots of toys for the littler ones. Also, most of the local libraries have story times a couple of mornings a week.

Hi A....not sure what part of Volusia County you are in, but my husband and I have a membership to the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford (we are in west V.C., so its very close for us). Its $11 for adults to get in for the day, but if you become a member, it costs $70 for the whole family to get in for the whole year (I believe two adults and up to 6 children are included in that price). My son is still a baby, but my husband and I like to walk around and the baby seems to enjoy watching the animals. They also have lots of fun events throughout the year and storytime every Wednesday. Good luck!

Hey A., not sure what age group your kiddos are but Port Orange has some fun stuff. Off of Ridgewood Ave there is a place called The Jumpy Place. Name says it all I think. Also in the same plaza is an ice skating rink. Or why not take advantage of some of our parks and recreations? The weather is great lately and its a perfect time to go on a nature walk. Good Luck!
