I don't have experience with the gallbadder attacks, but have in the past had trouble with constipation. If your medicine allows I would highly recommend taking Milk of Magnesia. You can call the MD to check. You can get it at places like Walgreens, etc. I took it once a day and it did the trick perfectly. Just take it on a day you are close to a bathroom because when you start to feel like you have to go - it comes on fast.

Hope this is helps and good luck!

Hey A.,
I sooo sympathize with you.....I had serious gallbladder issues while I was prego with my daughter and didnt even know it...thought I had bad indigestion...what the heck was I thinking right??? Then I got the hemorrhoids.....I actually bought Walmart's brand of the tucks pads and I thought they worked great....When they were at there worst I would actually take a pad and soak it with witchhazel and actually leave it up there for a bit....maybe a 1/2 hour or so...You might be able to ask your OB if they can prescribe you with something too...I know there is stuff out there but Im not sure if it is safe during pregnancy...mine never got that bad..and thankfully I ended up having a c-section so I didnt have any pushing to aggravate my hemorrhoids more....I did end up having my gallblader out 3 months after I gave birth which wasnt fun..My attacks got so bad after I had my daughter that the pain was worse than labor...if you can believe that!! Hope this helps and you feel better soon!!
Meg :)

take a stool softener for the constipation.

and keep the area clean,

after you use the bathroom, wash the area.

get into the tub nd rinse your bum.

wear cotton panties , NOT A THONG or satin, ect..

I would use the cream or ointment and leave it in there for a while

Drink coffee for breakfast because this helps you move your bowels, the softener will make it less painful to go , decreasing the pain and pressure on the roid. just realized your PREGNANT, tylenol will help with the pain,
And washing the area really helps, the ointment lasts longer than the pads.

A.,

After I gave birth I had a very very bad case of Hemmeroids. Have you tried the Sitz bath yet? Ask your hospital about it or go to a pharmacy. Basically you fill a swallow large seat that they sell with very warm water and you sit in it for about 20 minutes twice a day. Its painful but it works. Also try some gels and KEEP OFF YOUR FEET! That is very important. Try laying on your side for a day or two. I know this may be near impossible esp with a 26 month old, but its the only way to really get some relief. Walking and sitting is aggrivating them. Hope this helps and good luck . they should feel better in about a week and a half.

Well since we are getting personal...I had a rectal tear after my first child, a real thrill, and was prescribed ointment that finally worked just when I thought I might actually die of discomfort. Have you talked to your doctor about getting something a bit stronger than OTC wipes? And drink prune juice to keep those stools nice and soft. Good luck.
