Hi G. - I take my daughter to Dr. Teena Hughes on Fletcher Ave, right across from USF. She is a single practioner, but always has great substitutes when she's out. My 6 yr old is pretty healthy, but I love Dr. Hughes approach and the fact that she's a mom of 4 (boys). She also went through medical school while growing her family. I also love that she has a completely isolated/seperate "well child" room...so if you're taking your dghtr in for just a check-up you don't have to worry about her picking up something from another child who is there b/c they're sick. My daughters also see Dr. Dubey in Wesley Chapel (Seven Oaks Professional Center). Her office is right off Highway 56 and only about 3 miles from I-75 (exit number 275).

We used to be with Pediatric Health Care Alliance office in both Wesley Chapel and Lutz, but we were never able to get an appointment for sick visits during the day (we always had to wait all day for the night office). That was an issue for our family.

I like Dubey because I can call and usually be at her office within the hour. I think that's pretty responsive!

My kids go to Dr. Rita Dubey in Wesley Chapel. It might be a bit further for you, but she is very even handed, level headed, and a good practioner both professionally and clinically as well as from a parents standpoint.
