I'd like to know of some good, fun places for toddlers in delco. My son will be 2 in august and we're getting a little bored with the places we frequent on a regular basis. Some of these include local playgrounds and linvilla orchards. Does anyone have any good suggestions for good activities, classes, or playgroups in the area?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

For anyone who's interested... We're still looking for some activities, but we found some more that I thought I'd post in case anyone else wanted them. The Wallingford Community Arts Center has summer classes for toddlers. You register for one week at a time and mommy comes along, too. The price was only $70 per session.

I am currently doing a music class that my son loves. He's going to be one, but the classes are geared towards different ages of children. He's actually one of the youngest in the class and most are 1-2 years old. They have a breakdown of classes from infants to age 3, ages 2-4 and ages 4-5. So the classes are geared towards different ages and are in various locations depending on where you live. The website is www.sallysmusic.com

Another idea is a My Gym class, a MyGym just opened in Springfield and my cousin has her 2 yr old in a class and she absolutely loves it. Hope this helps, I have a son who will be 1 in June and I am always looking for different things to do, so thanx for asking this question, I'll be checking out responses to get some ideas. :)

Hi, i am a mother of a 19 month old son and i take him to kindermusick in media and my gym in springfield, each one day a week. I also take him to the tot lot playground in media. I am also looking into playgroups for him so if you are interested let me know. I want him at his age to learn to share, cooperate, etc...being an only child he doesn't get too much one on one with other children. Good luck!

My son is 19 months old and we are currently doing a Little Rollers class at the Ridley YMCA. It's for ages 18 mos to 3 yrs. I also will be joining Makin Music when the YMCA class is over. http://www.makinmusic.com

Hope this helps! I feel the same way sometimes!

I am not sure if you are a stay at home Mom or work part time, but you can look into www.MOMSClub.org They offer playgroups, MOMS Night out, etc. There are MOMS Clubs in Springfield, Prospect Park, Swarthmore, Drexel Hill, Newtown Square. The main link will list many of the local clubs.

Other fun places to visit are Family Inflatables in Holmes, PA, Oasis Family Fun Center in Glen Mills, Bette's Family Fun Center In Aston, Ridley Area YMCA has many kid programs too!
