4 Year Old Party

My son is turning 4 at the end of the month and I need some good ideas of where to have his party. I live in an apartment so I have no room to have one there. Last year we had it at Oasis and that was nice. I am looking for some where maybe a little closer to where we live ( Primos ) and not to expensive. Any ideas would be great. Thank you!

What can I do next?

My son will also be turning 4 this year and I was thinking about having his party at the local fire department. They do a tour and give the kids a safety overview, coloring books and hats, show them the trucks, some fires stations have a mascot etc...usually parents either make a small donation or bring some baked goods or snacks for the volunteers. I have the room in my house but do not want to deal with the mess, broken toys, etc..

Family Inflatables in Holmes Corporate Center off of 420 is a great option. Peace A Pizza in Springfield (in the shopping center with Outback Steakhouse) has kids parties. Michael's craft stores do parties. I also hear that Putt Putt in Springfield has a reasonably priced package. Last year we did Chuck E Cheese (Springfield) for my son's 4th birthday party and the kids had a blast. I've also been to nice parties at Kehler's gym in Broomall and I know Delco Training Center in Woodlyn also has reasonably priced parties. I do not know if you are a member of the Ridley YMCA or not, but they have various party packages. Finally, for my son's 3rd birthday, we did a party at McDonald's in Havertown on West Chester Pike. (They have an outdoor play area) It was the most reasonable of the parties I've had and the kids had a blast! Cake, invitations, etc are all included! You may also want to check out Bette's Family Fun Center in Aston, Moonbounce Adventures in Boothwyn or Linvilla Orchards...other great party locations!

I see you are a stay at home Mom. Are you involved in any local MOMS Clubs? I am a member of MOMS Club of Prospect Park. There is also a MOMS Club of Springfield. I am not sure where exactly you live, but if you are interested in more info let me know. MOMS Club offers playgroups, MOMS Night out and more!

Happy party planning!!

i had my daughter's 4th birthday at Bette's Fun Center in Aston. It was nice not to have to do any clean up or set up and it was not too expensive. here is their web site.

they also provide party bags, face painting, etc. but then it starts to get more expensive.

I am not exactly sure where you live, but Talley Day Park (Foulk Road) is a lovely park. I had my son's 6th birthday there. There is a covered pavillion, grills, and a nice playground. Also, the DE natural history museum (I think that is the name) does nice parties. Linvilla Orchards also has parties and hayrides that are fun.
