Does anyone know if there is a support group out there for people going through a divorce? I am very distraught and feel myself slipping deeper into depression. I need all the support I can get.

Hi, J.. My heart goes out to you. I was married for 18 years and my husband cheated and lied for most of the time. He came home one day and said, "I love you but I am not in love with you anymore". My son was 4 at the time. I was devistated. I went into a depression and I was on medicine. It's been 5 years and trust me.....you will get through this situation. Life for me is terrific. It's not an easy life..but it's good. Contact your doctor about support groups and therapy. Hang in there.....it will all work out!!! Trust in God!!
I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I am unsure where you live but I know in my township I get mailings from the local hospital and college and they offer support groups. Maybe you can contact those which are closest to you or google support groups with zip codes that are close to where you live.
