Sending your 3-month old to Kindercare would be fine, BUT it really depends upon which one you go to, some are much better run than others. My daughter currently attends one, and if my sister didn't work there I would be taking her somewhere else - but really, I don't think that's Kindercare only, all daycares are going to have their issues.
My advice is to spend time there before you commit, see how the teachers and management interact, get to know the teachers your son will be with, ask about things that are important to you.
Good luck.

I have been sending my daughter to tutor time for over a year. Depending on location on how expensive, you would have to call to find out price near you. I do not go to closest one to my home, because of the cost I send her to the one closest to my work. Good Luck

H.,

My vote is no. I sent my daughter to Kindercare while we waited for a spot to open up for her elsewhere. There were 2 caregivers for 13 children, and my daughter was in a swing with a binky in her mouth almost every time I went to breastfeed her or pick her up. I'd look for a place with a lower child to caregiver ratio. We put my daughter in a church daycare where the ratio was 3 babies to each caregiver. If you absolutely must do daycare, that's my advice. If you can at all avoid it, you probably should. I only lasted a year.

Take Care,

Al

Not sure what one you are looking at but my 8 month old daughter started attending on at 6 months and I am about as happy as I can be with daycare. The rate is $219 per week and you are responsible for formula, diapers and wipes. Hope that helps.

Allison, if you were finding 2:13 ratios you should report this center. This is against the law as AZ requires 1:5 maximum.
