I'd really like to spend some time with other moms just having some fun. It doesn't really matter what we do together, but I'd like to to make friends with some other moms. I need something to do other than take care of my daughter. I don't really have enough space in my apartment to host a group, but I'm available pretty much any time to meet somewhere else. I am really looking forward to the future playdates and events. I don't feel so lonely anymore. I joined the SAHM's group based out of Waterville and have set up one-on-one playdates with other moms now. Hopefully the future will bring lots of strong friendships!
Hey C.. Have you started a group yet? I would love to join and meet some new friends. My son just started preschool and i'm working in the mornings at my husband's company. I'm 5 months pregnant and once the new baby comes along, i wont be working again. Do you scrapbook at all?

You might want to check your area for a local MOPs group (Mothers of Preschoolers). They have meetings, do crafts, hear speakers, share ideas, etc.
My best friend was the president of a chapter for some time and she loved it. I think she found it through her church.

I live in Pemberville, so I'm very close to you. I belong to a SAHM's group that is based in Waterville, but I'm looking for more members to join that are closer to me so I can host some playdates and events in this area. I do attend some events that the group offers since it is not too far as some events are closer to me than others. In fact, we have a playdate at the park in Haskins tomorrow, so that is convenient for me. If you want the contact information for the group, I can provide that.
