I was in the same boat about a year ago and I have the perfect punch I found on allrecipes.com, it's called Grandmother's punch and it is fabulous. I have 10 people ask me for the recipe at my sister's bridal shower. It wasn't too sweet, as I thought it would be. Good luck.

My friends make a really easy punch for every church event. You just put Raspberry tea bags into 2 liter bottles of gingerale and let it sit overnight. (5-6 bags per bottle). Pour that over a pretty ice ring and raspberry ice cream and voila - easy punch!

An easy one I have used for showers in the past is as follows:

1 2liter of Ginger Ale
1 Sherbet Ring (I usually use a berry sherbet)
1 2QT Container of Berry Juice

It will have a fun foam on top and be a sparkling sweet punch under! I've always gotten compliments on this recipe.

Go to www.kraftfoods.com and do a search for punches. They have a ton of recipes on there and have gone to the website many times for punches and appetizers for entertaining. They have reviews from people who have made the item and the time required for preparing it also. It should help you out a lot.

Hi,
We have punch for both my kids birthdays every year and everyone loves it. It's been in the family for years. I will give you the full recipe but beware of your punch bowl. I actually have to cut this recipe in half because my bowl isn't big enough. Enjoy!!

1- 2L bottle gingerale, cold
1- 2L bottle 7-up, cold
1-2gal. vanilla ice cream
1-2gal. orange sherbert
1 jar marascino cherries

Pour the pop first, add the ice creams and stir until the ice cream is almost melted. Add cherries. It's so refreshing and sweet but not to sweet. If you want to add an ice ring, that always add beauty.
