Prolapsed and Pregnant-Anyone Ever Been Thru This

After active number 3, it was determined that I had a prolapsed bladder, small intestine, rectum (Yes what every woman in their 30's wants to hear :). I was scheduled for surgery when we found out much to every ones amazement number four was on his way.

I am now 35 weeks pregnant and the last two days have been horrible. This whole pregnancy I've been okay, a couple of more ouches than in other pregancies but it's to be expected.

I feel very swollen down there and a lot of pain. I don't know if I should bother my doctor or just realize that because he's getting bigger the pressure is just going to be worse.

My question, has anyone gone thru this, I know he's putting a lot of pressure on all my organs but I just want to make sure he's okay and of course nothing falls out :)...

Thank you in advance for any advice.

What can I do next?

DOn't feel like you are "bothering" your doctor. That is what they are there for!! If you feel like something could be wrong, then have it checked out. At least for your peace of mind. The pressure of a growing baby makes perfect sense, but if you have any doubts, call the dr. Good Luck!!

Go ahead and bother your doctor. Swelling and pain is a very good reason to call him!

Wow! I wish I could tell you what to do. On this one I don't know, but I offer my sympathy. My husband's grandmother had this occur several years ago and recieved surgery to correct the problem. I would be curious about what a urologist might suggest. Hang in there.
