Looking for school for my 3 year old boy. I live in EGLS in Baltimore city. We can afford moderately priced private school but would like to send him to a good public school. New to the area. Just looking for some "real" parent insight.
Thx!
M.

I sent both of my children to Govans Preschool and liked it very much.
Other parents I know sent their kids to First English Lutheran & say they loved it there.

Those are my suggestions - Good Luck!

Montessori on Falls is great. I have both of my kids at montessori. I have had many friends who sent their kids to Govans and loved it. There are others who swear by Waldorf, off Greenspring, and there is a smaller waldorf inspired in mt. Washington, called the lavender room.

Good luck.

Hello: Don't know where EGLS is in Baltimore City, but Roland Park Public School is a wonderful public school. Think your 3 year old is too young, though, for it is Kindergarten on.
Good luck, MzB.

Hi M.-

Not sure there are many public pre-schools in Baltimore. My kids go to Christ Lutheran Nursery School in Catonsville which is just outside the city. It's wonderful!!!
