hi,
i am looking for play groups so that my daughter can interact with more children. i am even looking for book clubs of some sort. also, i really need suggestions on clothing. heres the issue...my daughter is going to be 4 on 10/15 & she is tall & skinny. i cant find jeans to fit her. she still wears a size 2t/3t as her waist size but if i purchase that size then it is to short on her legs. if i purchase a 4t it is the perfect lenght but way to big on her little waist. help!!!!

What can I do next?

I have the same problem with my son. I also found that pants with the adjustable waist works. Target usually has a good selection with adjustable waist. Also maybe try a 4 slim. I've seen them somewhere, I think The Children's Place.

Get the 4T and have them taken in at the waist in the back Should cost like $5.

I have the same exact problem with my daughter!! The 4T fits in the waist but is too short and the 5 in girls is a little too big in the waist, but just the right length. I just buy her the size 5, but I make sure it has an adjustable waist. That's been working great for me. Let me know how everything works out for you!

Hi S.,

I live in LaPlace, just down the road from Destrehan, and I am in a MOPS group which stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. Any mom with children from birth to age 5 is welcome to join our group. We meet once a month on the 2nd Tuesday from 5 pm to 7pm. I have a 4 yr old daughter also with the same problem, and have found that if you go to Target, Little Gap or even Old Navy, they have pants with adjustable straps on the waist, and you can tighten them to fit little waists. :-)

I hope this helps, and if you would like more information on our moms group, please feel free to write me at my email address.
